December 8th saw the first annual Christmas party take place for members of the Herts. Aviation Society and the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust museum in Farnborough was host to another fantastic evening.
Farnborough was the home to the Royal Aircraft Establishment and the museum has a fantastic collection of exhibits including some rare aircraft outside. This was the third night-shoot to take place at the museum and once again the team were more than happy to open up and lend a hand. Lighting the aircraft one by one, we managed to utilise the available equipment to its full potential and this made for some superb shots. Even though I was running around all evening setting up the lights and my tripod broke, I still managed to come away with some pretty decent shots.
2012 has been a long year with plenty of outings and this is probably the last time I’ll post before 2013 begins – to all those who have followed me throughout the past twelve months, thank you!
